 I
would like to take this opportunity and
welcome you to MY WORLD.
The world of Thorough Bred
Racing Homers. I have been
involved, or should say fascinated, with
these wonderful creatures God has given
us for the past 50 years. I am a
professional Trainer of some of the best
racers in the country. I also convoy
and liberate some of
the biggest special races in our area,
which included the 2006 IF Convention
Race.
My love for these birds has brought me
so much JOY with the
bond that they and I have
with eachother; PRIDE
with the accomplishments that my
birds have achieved, winning almost
every major race in the New York Metro
area and also all over this great
country of ours, even against all odds;
and, yes, SADNESS when
one does not come home, or when they
get old
and pass on. It is hard to explain the
feeling of emptiness when you gaze at
the nest box where they resided and are
no longer there; and FRIENDSHIPS
I have made with fanciers who
are not afraid to reach out their hand
and help when I'm in need of a good
bird, advice when I start to second
guess my self!, or to just listen to me
when I just need to blow off some
steam!!!! ...or as my wonderful wife
Catherine calls it VENTING!
I wish to acknowledge my good friend and
recent partner, Joe Perino, whom I've
known for more then half my life. Eric
Gioiosa (Uncle Eric), Chris Peeman, and
John Sampson. These three men have
supplied me with some of the best
pigeons I have the privilege of owning.
And now the two backbones of the
health and well being of my birds, DR.

Our small training truck, Holds
48 crates 24" x 41" with wire
floors. We average 6 first place
winners per week! We go out four
times a week. Tuesday & Thursday
80 Miles, Monday & Friday 60
Miles. |
